Dr. Vilson Merkaj

Vilson Merkaj, DDS is dedicated to providing optimized, individualized, and up-to-date care to his patients. His goal is to exceed his patients’ expectations and help them achieve dental wellness. Dr. Merkaj’s patient-focused approach aims to alleviate dental anxiety, remove pain and infection, and restore his patients beautiful smiles. One of his favorite parts of dentistry is building meaningful relationships with a diverse range of patients each day.

Dr. Merkaj, a Metro Detroit native, completed his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University and went on to earn a Master’s Degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He later obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Detroit Mercy Dental. Committed to lifelong learning, he has pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education, including an in-depth, seven-month implant course.

Dr. Merkaj spends most of his free time enjoying the great outdoors with his two wonderful daughters and amazing wife. He is an avid reader and likes to stay active by playing basketball and soccer.
